Sitting alone all the way at the back of the aisle of cages, Jordan, a Bull Mastiff, German Shepherd, and Samoyed mix, was a shelter dog for 3 years before Kris went to his local rescue to find a new friend. Immediately catching his eye and pulling at his heartstrings, Jordan was quickly adopted by Kris. In their 11 years together, Kris took Jordan everywhere he went. Sadly, in 2018, Jordan passed away from cancer, but her memory lives on through Jordan’s Way.
Based in Safety Harbor, Florida, Kris is the founder and CEO of Jordan’s Way. Before founding Jordan’s Way, Kris was a realtor and changed gears to focus more on animal welfare. As a longtime bodybuilder, Kris began doing physical challenges, like pushing, pulling, and flipping a 250-pound tractor-trailer tire for 13 miles to help raise money for local shelters. After spending 72-hours in a dog cage to live like a shelter dog to raise awareness, Kris decided to take his show on the road and started the 50 State Tour, where he travels to shelters across the country raising money and awareness.

To share meaningful animal welfare stories that inspire people to adopt. We publicize our efforts on Social Media to work towards influencing the Clearing of Shelters. Through our community outreach, fundraising and advocacy, we create a buzz around shelters that builds a compassionate community of pet parents willing to provide a permanent home to homeless animals.
All over the United States animals are left to die in shelters. There are groups of compassionate animal lovers working hard to save these animals and find them proper homes, however, sometimes these people have trouble successfully sharing what they do with the world. Our goal at Jordan’s Way is to amplify the great work of shelters around the country.
Together we can clear the shelters!
Our founder Kris met his best friend and inspiration 11 years ago at a local shelter. Jordan had spent her whole life in a shelter until Kris was able to rescue her. Over the years they helped each other grow as their bond strengthened. Many of us know the profound affect that an animal can have on your life, and the impact that we have when we rescue shelter pets. Sadly Jordan passed in the fall of 2018 after a battle with cancer. Kris made a promise to honor her life by helping as many shelters in need as possible, founding Jordan’s Way.
